The Prince Albert Downtown Business Improvement District is excited to announce that the Downtown and area will be hosting Culture Days here in Prince Albert on September 28, 29 & 30, 2018.
According to Culture Days Saskatchewan, Culture days is a Canadian initiative that aims to raise awareness, participation, and engagement of all Canadians cultural activities. Culture Days include all areas of cultures. Whether it's art, heritage, First Nations culture, Metis culture and more. Thursday, September 6Downtown Art Walk take a walk downtown and join with like minded community people enjoying a wide range of art created by local and provincial artists. Venues include The Mann Art Gallery, GP Carlson Gallery, John V. Hicks Gallery, Grace Campbell Gallery, On the Avenue Artisan's Gallery, Bison Cafe, Prim & Proper Decor, Funky Fresh Cafe & Bistro, and The Rusty Owl. Saturday, September 8Rock My GypsySoul Music Festival will be in memorial square from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and will host Jay & Jo, Allison Rae Strong Music, Amanda Goller,Stephanie Rose Music, Taya Lebel Music and Sabrina Demyen. Friday, September 14Join The Mann Art Gallery as the host the Opening Reception for Catherine BlackBurn: New Age Warriors an exhibition of new work by Catherine Blackburn. Saturday, September 15Yoga for Seniors This is a beginner/ all level class aimed at bringing more mobility and stability and well as gentle breathing practices that can help strengthen the lungs and release tension. This yoga class will be from 1:30 pm- 2:30 pm at the Prince Albert Arts Centre.
