Bocian Jewellers logo
In 2003, Bocian Jewellers was opened. It was a small boutique jewelry store that was built upon owner Alex Bocian's vision for what a store should be.

Once a memory and timepiece retail store, Alex has expanded to include many more types of jewelry.

Our commitment to high-quality custom made jewelry and customer service is always a top priority with us. We appreciate your patronage and we believe that going above and beyond when it comes to customer service is something that every business should do. After all, you don't have to come to us, you choose to and that is something that we are thankful for. We are proud to serve the residents of Prince Albert and nearby areas.

We are also experts in jewelry repair.  If you have a piece of jewelry or a watch that needs repair, please bring it into us.  It's a shame that once something is broken, many people just leave it sitting in a box, our jewelry repair service is fast and reasonable.

When you're looking for that perfect gift for a loved one, stop in to see us. We're sure to have something that you and the person you are shopping for will love. Jewelry and watches make a truly wonderful gift. It's something that never goes out of style and something that you can use forever.

Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram.

Downtown Feature - Red Cross

Prince Albert Red Cross
The Red Cross Society is the largest humanitarian organization in the world and our mission is to improve the lives of the most vulnerable.  What do we do??? Simply put WE HELP PEOPLE.

Canadian Red Cross invites Canadians who want to help when they see people being affected by disaster to join our volunteer team.  Volunteers receive quality training and opportunities to help in Saskatchewan and throughout Canada at no personal cost.  All we ask is your time

What’s the best way to help after a disaster?
Last year in Saskatchewan, the Canadian Red Cross helped over 550 people affected by personal disasters, like house fires.

When a disaster like this strikes, people reach out to the Canadian Red Cross to offer their assistance. In fact, the people of Saskatchewan are always among the most generous.

Picture
It is through this generosity that the Red Cross can provide food, comfort and warmth to individuals and families affected by a personal disaster.

We have learned two important things from our experience in responding to these types of disaster that are important to keep in mind when the next one hits.

Offering your time and talent is the best way to help

Here in Saskatchewan, we rely on over 400 highly trained volunteers to respond to emergencies and disasters. When a family experiences a disaster, these volunteers are the first to rush in to offer immediate assistance.

But don’t worry – we won’t send you to respond on your first day. Our selection and training process is designed to ensure that you are fully prepared before you reach the scene.

If this sounds like the right challenge for you, join our team today.

Or if you’re a bit unsure, check out this short video to learn about how volunteers respond and what’s involved.
A financial donations is the best way to give

While it seems natural to offer your new or used clothing or furniture, the Red Cross only accepts financial donations. This is because donated items may not always be exactly what people actually need. They are also difficult and costly to store, process and transport.

It is much more efficient and effective to provide people with the items or services they do need. This ensures that we provide the same services, and it helps stimulate the local economy.

If you still want to get rid of a few things and help people, there are other community-based organizations that will be happy to receive your new or used goods.
