As part of the Historical Society’s efforts to fund raise to reconstruct the Church and Blockhouse on the riverbank, they are hosting the first Historic Homes Tour on Sunday, October 27th from 1 to 5 pm. Tickets are available at the Historical Museum for $25 a person. There will be only 100 tickets printed!
This Historic Home Tour is a self driving tour of 5 different homes in Prince Albert. Specific thank you goes out to Lorne and Marlene Green, Shirley Hamilton, Robert duLaux and Ursula Westphalen, the Red Pine Bed and Breakfast, and Craig Thibault for opening their homes for the event. Ticket holders will be allowed in the homes throughout the afternoon, at your own leisure. Historical Society volunteers will be hosts at each house with the owners. We ask that no children under the age of 12 attend the tours. Shoe covers will be provided to you, if you are unable to remove your shoes. More information can be found on our Facebook page here and it will be updated regularly. The Historical Museum will be “home base” for the afternoon, providing light refreshments and bathrooms for participants. Tickets will be available that day as well for $30, if available. Ticket holders will also be entered into a draw for a one night stay for two at the Red Pine Bed and Breakfast! If you would like to purchase tickets, or have any questions please contact Michelle at the Historical Museum 306-764-2992.

I got rather happy when I came to know about this historic homes tour being hosted because the host is a proper one. So, all in all, let's hope that it all goes well now.
